Charles Davis was named lead football game analyst for the Big Ten Network in July, 2007. Davis’ broadcasting resume includes calling the 2007 BCS National Championship game, 2007 Tositos Fiesta Bowl and the first-ever game on the Big Ten Network, Appalachian State’s historic upset of Michigan.
Davis also broadcasts for the NFL Network and the Golf Channel. He has worked as lead analyst for TBS’ football coverage of the Big 12 and Pac-10 Conferences. He is also a sideline reporter for the National Basketball Association (NBA) on TNT, a college football analyst for the NFL Network and an analyst for CBS’ coverage of the NCAA basketball tournament. From 2000-2003, Davis was the co-host of Sunshine Network’s popular evening sports show, Sunshine Network Live!, as well as co-host of a sports talk radio show.
During his own playing career, Davis was a four-year starter at defensive back for the University of Tennessee. He resides in Orlando with his wife Lisa, and their daughter Taylor and son Parker.
