Athens, GA (Dec 14, 2007) - Doug Plank is a Game Analyst for Sports USA Radio Network. This is his profile as published by the network.

Doug Plank joined the Sports USA Radio Network in 2004. Plank played college football at Ohio State in the early 1970's under legendary coach Woody Hayes, participating in three consecutive Rose Bowls before going to the NFL. Drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1975, Plank was their staring safety for eight seasons. The famous "46 Defense", created by Buddy Ryan, was named for Plank's jersey number and his aggressive style of play. Plank has spent a number of years in broadcasting, working in radio and television for the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Fox Sports Net. As the head coach of the Georgia Force, Plank was named the 2005 Arena Football League coach of the year.
