Howard Griffith was named analyst for the Big Ten Network in July 2007. Griffith joins Dave Revsine and Gerry DiNardo to form the studio team for BIG TEN FOOTBALL SATURDAY and also regularly appears on BIG TEN TONIGHT.
Griffith set an NCAA record with eight rushing touchdowns in a single game during his playing days at the University of Illinois. A retired NFL fullback, he played for two seasons each with the St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers before joining the Denver Broncos is 1997. Griffith played five seasons with the Broncos during which he won 2 Super Bowl rings in Super Bowl XXXII and Super Bowl XXXIII. Griffith was a large contributor in the Broncos Super Bowl XXXIII win, scoring two rushing touchdowns in the game.
