Athens, GA (Sept 21, 2008) - On Saturday, the Mississippi State University Bulldogs of the SEC played the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets from the ACC for the first time since October 4, 1929. Raycom Sports broadcast the game in the ACC Market, but ESPN would not give them a waiver to broadcast the game in Mississippi. For Mississippi State fans, this was probably a blessing as Georgia Tech (3-1, 1-1 ACC) ran all over the Bulldogs (1-3, 0-1 SEC) in a 38-7 win. And when I say ran, I mean ran. They had 438 yards rushing, blocked a field goal attempt and forced 4 turnovers. With a freshman back-up quarterback having to step in midway through the first series!

Here are some pictures from the television booth.
