The 2008 NFL Broadcast Assignments for Week 5

Manchester, NH (Oct 2, 2008) - CBS Sports has the doubleheader this week, with Gus Johnson pulling double duty this weekend with Ultimate Fighting and the San Diego - Miami game. Fox Sports continues to juggle talent assignments, as Dick Stockton is off calling baseball for TBS. To fill this hole, Matt Vasgersian slides into the play-by-play seat to call the Bears-Lions game.

Thankfully no one will have to watch the train wrecks that are Oakland, St. Louis and Cleveland, as they are off this week. Sadly, no one gets to see Brett Favre and the Jets as they are off too. At least Favre will get a chance to rest that weary arm of his.

Byes this week: Browns, Jets, Raiders, Rams
