The 2009 NFL Broadcast Assignments for Week 14

Week 14 of the 2009 NFL season is here, and it is getting to be crunch time. CBS Sports has the doubleheader. The Jim Nantz led A-Team is assigned to the San Diego Chargers (9-3) - Dallas Cowboys (8-4) game, while Dick Enberg and Dan Fouts get the Denver Broncos (8-4), looking to hold onto their wildcard position and possibly get into a tie for first place in the AFC West if the Chargers falter, taking on the Indianapolis Colts (12-0).

Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf get to travel to frigid Minneapolis (currently 9° F, wind chill of -4° F ) as the NFC North leading Minnesota Vikings (10-2) play host to the AFC North Leading Cincinnati Bengals (9-3). Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon get warm weather but a turkey of a game as they head to Tampa for the game between the 6-6 New York Jets and the 1-11 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Over on Fox Sports, the Joe Buck led A-Team makes a rare appearance in Atlanta as the undefeated New Orleans Saints (12-0) visit the Atlanta Falcons (6-6). With Falcons QB Matt Ryan still out with a toe injury, this one could be ugly. Other than this game, there does not look to be a single compelling match-up worth anyone's time to watch. Maybe this is why the largest audience for a game will be 45% for the Saints-Falcons game, and also why there are no sideline reporters assigned for any games except for the Falcons game and the Carolina Panthers (5-7) - New England Patriots (7-5) game (Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa).

NBC Sports has the Philadelphia Eagles (8-4) - New York Giants (7-5) battling for first place in the NFC East on Sunday night. ESPN/ESPN Deportes has the Arizona Cardinals (8-4) visiting the San Francisco 49ers (5-7) on Monday Night Football.

Note on the Fox Sports Producer/Director Assignments: Fox Sports does not include this information in their weekly release (CBS Sports does). So the assignments shown below are based on what Fox gives us, as the only organization they say that requests is, at the beginning of the assignment. So your actuall game day experience may vary on broadcast teams with shifting announcing assignments from week to week, We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
