The 2009 NFL Broadcast Assignments for Week 16 and Playoff Scenarios

Two weeks to go in the 2009 NFL regular season, and CBS Sports has their first full slate of eight games this season. They also have the doubleheader. 19 teams are still in contention for the playoffs. with 12 of those teams in the AFC.
The game to watch will be the San Diego Chargers (11-3) at the Tennessee Titans (7-7) on the NFL Network Christmas night (Note- this is Friday, not Thursday this week. Thankfully the NFL kept one night sacred). The story line there is great. The Titans, who defeated Miami last week in overtime, became the first team in NFL history to get back to .500 after an 0-6 start. Titans Running Back Chris Johnson needs 270 yards over the next two games to become only the 6th running back in history to run for 2,000 yards in a single season.
