49ers/Eagles Kickoff Pushed Back to 4:15 as Fox Doubleheader In Disarray
A second game has fallen victim to the weather pummeling the northeast this weekend, and as a result, the Fox Sports doubleheader is in disarray. Following on the heels of the Chicago Bears - Baltimore Ravens matchup being pushed back to a 4:15 PM ET start at the request of Baltimore City officials, the San Francisco 49ers - Philadelphia Eagles kickoff has also been pushed back to 4:15 PM ET as well.
A consequence of the change is that Fox only has two games left in its 1:00 PM Window: The Atlanta Falcons visiting the New York Jets, and the Arizona Cardinals visiting the Detroit Lions. Maybe the NFL will let Fox push up the Green Bay Packers - Pittsburgh Steelers game to 1:00 PM to offset the impact?
Fox Sports has not yet issued a release with the revised regionalizations resulting from this latest change. We will try and post it as soon as it is available.
