Athens, GA (Dec 9, 2007) - Don McGuire (pictured left), senior Vice-President of programming, production and operations at the Golf Channel, unexpectedly left the network at the end of November.

Don McGuire has left his post as senior vice president of programming, production and operations at the Golf Channel, less than two years after the cable network hired him to help oversee the launch of its PGA Tour broadcasts.You can read the full story over on Golf Week's web site.
Golf Channel spokesman Dan Higgins declined to give specifics of McGuire’s exit other than to say “there has been a separation.” He did say McGuire opted to step down immediately rather than work through a transitional period. McGuire’s departure was announced to Golf Channel staff on Nov. 28.
