Athens, GA (Dec 14, 2007) - The following is the fact sheet for the Sports USA Radio Network as published by the network.
The Sports USA Radio Network is an independent national syndicator of sporting events, broadcasting a college football game of the week each Saturday and two NFL games each Sunday.
The company, started in 1998 by veteran Los Angeles sportscaster Larry Kahn, broadcast a few select games per season, primarily bowl games. In 2001 the schedule was expanded to include a major college football game of the week throughout the entire season. The following year Sports USA Radio began broadcasting NFL games.
In 2007 the Sports USA Radio Network will once again broadcast 34 NFL regular season games as well as its college schedule consisting of 16 regular season games featuring the best teams in college football, plus the following post-season games:
Dr. Pepper Big 12 Football Championship
Las Vegas Bowl
Independence Bowl
Sun Bowl
Insight Bowl
Capital One Bowl
In addition to its core of football broadcasts, the Sports USA Radio Network also broadcasts the semi finals and final game of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament.
In 2002, Jones Media America became the official national advertising sales representative for the Sports USA Radio Network.
