When he's not handling play-by-play duties for RAYCOM SPORTS®/RAYCOM SPORTS® ACC broadcasts, Tim Brant can be seen on ABC Sports in a variety of roles. Before rejoining ABC, Brant called NFL, NBA and NCAA Tournament games for CBS Sports from 1987-91. He also served as host for the Tour de France. He spent the previous four years at ABC, where he covered college football with Keith Jackson and worked the 1984 Winter and Summer Olympics, USFL play-by-play and "Wide World of Sports."
Tim, a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he was a defensive captain as a linebacker, started his career in Washington, first as sports director at WMAL Radio and later as sports director of WJLA-TV. Tim became Vice President of Sports for WJLA-TV in January 2004.
