Athens, GA (Jan 17, 2008) - When I first posted the 2008 television schedule for NCAA Division I Men's basketball a few weeks ago, I was really blown away by the increase in traffic and the positive response it has received. The intended audience was the "ordinary viewers" looking for schedule information. I did not expect this unintentional use when engaged in an e-mail discussion with a public relations representative for a National Basketball Association (NBA) team:

"Wow, that schedule is fantastic…I’m actually going to forward that down to our coaches, video coordinator and college scouts"

I never envisioned it as being a tool useful to the NBA scouts looking at up and coming talent. It has given me incentive to go ahead and finish Phase II of that project, and to ponder what other secondary uses date like this might serve.
