Athens, GA (Sept 19, 2008) - Daryn Kagan is a woman who knew what she wanted to, and walked away from her job coverings news and sports at CNN and CNN/SI to do it. The "it" was to launch a website dedicated to hopeful news. She says on her web site:
Many people ask me how I have such a positive outlook after more than 20-years in the news business. Simply, I believe in the adage, "Create what you seek." I was seeking inspiration, so I decided to create a home where those stories could live. This isn't a "happy news," site. It is more focused than that. I would call it "hopeful" news. My mission and the motto of the website is to "Show the World What Is Possible!" one story at a time.
Since launching her site in 2006, she has posted a number of stories, many of which cover the sports world. Ken Fang of Fang's Bites linked to one today, this story about a man with cerebral palsy living his dream on the PGA Tour. With the Ryder Cup going on this weekend, it is a great story.
Daryn has many more sports related stories on her site, and she has been added to the recommended sites section of this site.
