How can I receive the North Alabama vs Carson Newman game in the Albuquerque market on Sept. 4th, 2008. Cable. Dish, or Direct?G.W. , Albuquerque
You have been hit by the biggest problem facing CBS College Sports Television: Distribution and availability. ESPN has been addressing this issue with their own networks (particularly ESPNU) by paying through the nose for the Southeastern Conference contract and by getting their hands on a contract for the Western Athletic Conference.
To answer your question directly, the only way you can see the game is if you have the CBS College Sports Network on your system:
Direct TV: Channel 613 (Premier Packagae or with Sports Pack only)
Dish: Channel 152 (America's Top 200 Package or Dish Family Packages)
I cannot speak to cable as I do not know what companies serve your area. If you cannot get CBS College Sports, your best bet is to find a bar or restaurant that has it.
You may be able to hear the game on CBS College Sports Radio (the link can be found at http://www.sportsline.com/cbscollegesports/subscribe#)
