The 2008 NFL Broadcast Assignments for Week 6

Tuesday, October 7, 2008 , Posted by Christopher Byrne at 9:41 PM, under , , ,

Athens, GA (Oct 7, 2008) - Fox Sports has the doubleheader this week, and Fox must be trying to keep people spinning while playing musical chairs in the announcer positions. You can pretty much be safe in knowing who will partner in each CBS booth from week to week. But with TBS taking people like Dick Stockton for the League Division Series games, Fox gets to do the pilfering from their own crews, moving Joe Buck and Chris Myers over to baseball coverage.

Readers may also want to note that, as of this date, Fox will not have a sideline reporter on two one of their game broadcasts. They have added Atlanta sports reporter Buck Lanford from Fox 5 Atlanta as the sideline reporter for the Bears - Falcons matchup.

This does not mean that CBS Sports is not doing any production team juggling, with Producer Ken Mack filling in for Bob Mansbach on the Dick Enberg/Randy Cross/Dan Fouts team this week. Note: in week 7, Mack will fill in for Jim Rickhoff on the Kevin Harlan/Rich Gannon team.

Byes this week: Bills, Chiefs, Steelers, Titans
