Athens, GA (Dec 3, 2008) - From Michael Hiestand (by way of Fang's Bites) comes news that Fox Sports will be broadcasting this year's BCS Championship game in 3-D.

UPDATE: You can find a Google map with the locations for the screenings, as announced on December 17, 2008, over in this article.
Let's look at some of the downsides.
1. Local theaters in Athens were charging $10.50 for adults to sit through the 3-D version of Bolt. So how much will Fox be charging for this experience?
2. We all walked out of Bolt with raging headaches (after a 96 minute movie). What will you feel like after watching an extended game?
3. You cannot bring your own food or beverages into the theater, and there is no place for a tailgate.
So will you bite?
Oh and FYI, Bolt was a much better than expected movie!
