Getting My DC Sports Fix This Week

I apologize for being quiet the past four or five days. I spent some time on a mini-retreat for mind and soul at Nazareth Farm in West Virginia. Pictures are below, and it was quite rejuvenating.

Now I am the Washington, D.C. area for the week and will be doing some different things, Either tomorrow or Wednesday I will be heading over to the Washington Redskins training camp in Ashburn, Virginia. I have set up some interviews with their new media staff, and sent some questions in for Redskins owner Dan Snyder.

I have also put in a credential request for a Florida Marlins - Washington Nationals game either tomorrow or Wednesday evening. Yes, watching the Nationals this year can be likened to watching a train wreck. But so much neighborhood rejuvenation has happened around their stadium, completely transforming the area, it would be great to get to the ball park to see what they have built there.

Unfortunately, I will be gone before Real Madrid comes to town to play DC United over at RFK Stadium. That would be very different.

Here are a couple pictures from Nazareth Farm in Center Point, West Virginia, one of the most relaxing places I have ever visited. And it has not changed in the 24 years since I was last there.
