College football was not the only game in town this weekend in Athens, Georgia. On Friday, September 11, 2009, Clarke Central High School hosted Habersham County High School for a little get together.

Before the game, legendary Clarke Central High School football coach Billy Henderson was honored by score of former letterman.

Now 82-years young, Coach Henderson led Clarke Central to three state championships and an 285-107-6 record over a 35 year career. At least 172 of his players earned college scholarships (source: ajc.com) His teams included seven future NFL players (that actually played in a game) including Willie Green, Chuck Smith, and current Carolina Panthers placekicker John Kasay (source: Georgia High School Football Historians Association).
