Flickr User Brule Laker (his Flickr name) took these pictures at the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Chicago White Sox game on July 23, 2009, the day White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle tossed the 18th perfect game in Major League Baseball history.
Burle offered to share these photograph's here, and this is what the lifelong Chicago resident had to say about the day.
I was seated in my cousin's seats in Section 126, Row 9, Seat 3 (5 rows behind the visitors' dugout), the same seat for Gavin Floyd's one-hitter last year and the Cardinals Anthony Reyes' one-hit loss against the Sox in 2006 and one seat over from where I watched Buehrle's 2007 no-hitter. I was also seated in Seat 1 in 2007 when the lead-off men for Kansas City and the Sox hit home runs in the top and bottom of the 1st and 2nd innings, the only time this has happened in Major League Baseball history. The Sox pitcher that day: Mark Buehrle.
You can see more of his work over on Flickr.
