No Perfect Game Replay on MLB Network for Tampa Bay, Oakland Fans
The MLB Network will be airing a replay of Dallas Braden's perfect game masterpiece Monday, May 10, 2010 at 12:30 PM ET for baseball fans to see what they may have missed today. Except for fans from the Tampa Bay and Oakland markets that is. The reason why is unclear, so we have asked the MLB Network for clarification. If an when we get a reply, we will post the reason here.
MLB Network To Re-Air Bob Costas/Ernie Harwell Interview
Baseball lost one of its great voices of yore yesterday when Ernie Harwell lost a year-long battle with cancer. The longtime voice of the Detroit Tigers, who was once involved in a trade, sat down with Bob Costas last year for a lengthy interview on the MLB Network. As part of their tribute to Harwell, MLB Network will be re-airing the interview today (Wednesday, May 6, 2010) at 4:00 PM ET/3:00 PM CT.
Golf Writer: Tiger Just Quit
Scott Michaux has been covering golf for a long time for the Augusta Chronicle. That means he has been covering Tiger Woods for a long time as well. He was at Quail Hollow on Friday when Tiger Woods' golf game came crashing down on him as he crawled home with a worst-ever professional round of 79. Michaux was at the Nationwide Tour's Stadion Athens Classic at UGA on Sunday. I asked him what he saw in Tiger's game on Friday, and he had a simple answer.

When Texas A&M alum Martin Piller took the turn Sunday during the final round of the Nationwide Tour's 2010 Stadion Athens Classic at UGA (the University of Georgia), he stood two shots back of leader Daniel Summerhays. By the time they got to 72nd hole of the tournament, they were tied at 12 under par.

Summerhays Holds On To 1-Shot Lead at Stadion Athens Classic at UGA
Daniel Summerhays, pictured acknowledging the gallery after completing his round, survived a bogey on the 18th hole of the Nationwide Tour's Stadion Athens Classic at UGA to take a one shot lead over Martin Piller and a two hot lead over New Zealander Bradley Iles. Summerhays shot a 6-under par 65 on Saturday to give him a three round total of -13.
