Athens, GA (Nov 25, 2007) - I do not know about anyone else, but I was tuned in to the CBS Sports telecast of the Tennessee - Kentucky game. CBS hit the jackpot with this game and the LSU - Arkansas game friday night. I started out watching Brad Nessler, Bob Griese, Paul Maguire, and Bonnie Bernstein cover the Georgia - Georgia Tech contest over on ABC Sports. They got stuck with a snoozer. So I switched over to Craig Bolerjack and Steve Beurlein coverage of UT - UK, and wow, what an awesome finish. Sure, it looked like no one wanted to win, but when a game keeps my wife and kids glued to the edge of their seats, you know it is exciting. When I game leaves me so drained I want to turn the TV off, you know is what something special to watch.

And the four-overtime thriller helped CBS in another way. It kept them from having to broadcast the Florida - Florida State blowout that followed.
