What School Has the Most Super Bowl MVPs?

Athens, GA (Nov 24, 2007) - A few minutes ago during the Georgia - Georgia Tech broadcast on ABC Sports, Brad Nessler asked the AFLAC Trivia Question, "What school has produced the most Super Bowl MVPs?". Since the question always involves one of the two teams playing, I was not surprised that the University of Georgia was the school, but two of the three caught me by surprise. I was expecting, for some reason, to hear Fran Tarkenton and Herschel Walker (yes, I was up late last night). Well I was wrong on those two.

The three Georgia Bulldogs that went on to become MVPs of the Super Bowl are:

  • Jake Scott (Safety, Miami Dolphins, Super Bowl VII, 1973)
  • Terrell Davis (Running Back, Denver Broncos, Super Bowl XXXII, 2006)
  • Hines Ward (Wide Receiver, Pittsburgh Steelers, Super Bowl XL, 2006)
Of course, why did I post this? Because within 1 minute of Bender asking this question, over 40 people visited this site looking for the answer.
