Athens, GA (Nov 12, 2007) - When the University of Georgia Bulldogs came running onto the field dressed in black this past Saturday, the cameras of CBS Sports were there to show you the burst of energy and the excitement of the fans. These images are also taken by the print and online media to show the world. What they do not show is the silent entry of the injured players on the other side of the field, or how these players who so want to be in the game often stand aside idle.

As much as these players want to be in the game and to help the team, there is not much more than they can do except be there to offer their support and encouragement. Unfortunately, their silent contribution often goes unnoticed in the media.
