The veteran Los Angeles broadcaster has covered all major sporting events including 4 Superbowls, the BCS title game, the World Series, UCLA & Southern Cal Football, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Over the years he has worked for KMPC, KFWB, and KSPN radio. Van Hook is winner of the "Golden Mic" award, 3 Los Angeles Press Club awards, and an Associated Press award for best sports segments. Rod holds a Bachelor of Science in English and US History from UCLA and resides in Los Angeles.
