In his seventh year with the Sports USA Radio Network, Brian Golden is the studio host for NFL and College Football. Golden produces and hosts "NFL Sunday Warm up, a half hour program preceding each week's NFL doubleheader, and NFL Sunday Wrapup with scores and highlights from the entire day in the NFL after the second game."A four-time nominee as sports talk host of the year by the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association, Golden formerly hosted gameday activities on the Penn State, UCLA and Southern Cal football networks. The 23-year veteran of the Antelope Valley Press in Palmdale, Calif. is a former voter in the Associated Press college football poll, and votes annually for the Maxwell Award.
Golden is a 2005 honoree by the AP Sports Editors as a top 10 sports columnist in his circulation category nationally, his second such honor in three years and third since 1993. The New York native has covered eight college football national championship games, and will cover his 21st Super Bowl in Super Bowl XLII at Glendale, AZ in February.
