The Most Beautiful Rendition of God Bless America

Athens, GA (Jan 3, 2008) - Eye on Sports Media did not get the chance to watch the 2008 NHL Winter Classic the other day, which is sad given our upstate New York roots. Thankfully, Ken Fang of Fang's Bites posted some You Tube videos of the Canadian Broadcasting Company's (CBC) coverage of the game. The following clip featuring Irish Tenor, and remarkable athlete, Ronan Tynan singing "God Bless America" is probably the most beautiful rendition of the song I have ever heard, and if it does not send chills down your spine, then nothing will. Note that the song begins around the 4:00 mark.

It is unclear why they did not sing the National Anthem, but it would have paled in comparison to this piece.
