Yes, while some people will be watching some schools play basketball this weekend, other die-hard sports fans will be curling up in front of their televisions or computers with beer in their hand (or some other libation like coffee or hot cocoa). What is fueling their excitement? It is time for the 2008 World Men's Curling Championship in Grand Forks, North Dakota!

CBC's "Bold" so-called coverage of the mens world curling championship is again dismal at best mainly due to the lack of it. Their only saving grace is the excellent job done by a very knowledgable colour commentator. Who is this young man? I hope some day he'll get to work for a network that actually cares about their viewers more than their secretive, self-serving political affiliations.
