ESPN College GameDay: Mark Richt Extends Palm Leaves to Corso and Herbstreit
Athens, GA (Sept 26, 2008) - "No, I don't call and talk to coaches," says Lee Corso. "If I call and talk to one coach, then I would have to do it with all of them. Imagine the fallout if I called Mark Richt this week and did not Call Nick Saban. I then pick Georgia to win. I would never hear the end of it."
Of course, that does not mean coaches will not approach them. University of Georgia Coach Mark Richt, who was publicly disappointed when ESPN did not show the Knowshon Moreno hurdle highlight a few weeks ago, arrived at the ESPN College GameDay compound because he wanted to meet them.

He did not arrive empty handed. He extended a palm leaf to each of them, by presenting them with personalized UGA Black game jerseys in honour of tomorrow night's blackout.
