Athens, GA (Dec 16, 2008) - A series of press releases came out today that announced the locations where people can drop between $18-$22 a ticket to watch the 2009 BCS Championship Game in 3-D.

The release containing the theater names, which is still a work in progress, could have and should have included a Google Map showing the locations. But it did not. However, it was not difficult to put the map together for our readers:

The key for selection of the locations was that the theaters had to support the 3-D technology. But the geographic locations look like a small head-scratcher. Why? Because the states that have the most theaters showing the game are Texas and North Carolina. Yes the heart of the state that hates Oklahoma the most, and the heart of the powerful football conference known as the ACC.

It will be interesting to see what kind of buy rate this 3-D presentation gets, especially in those two states.
