Update 8:38 PM ET: Well gosh darn it all if they did not wear the lapel pins tonight. This does not mean the charity is any less worthy though, so please read on.

Yes it is that time of the year. The time when people watching Fox Sports wonder what the lapel pins the on-air talent are, and what they represent.

They are part of Fox Sports Supports, with each major sports property on Fox Sports aligning with a designated charity. For the 2009 Major League Baseball season, the Fox team is partnered with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.

I am not sure what the pins worn by the Fox Sports team look like, but you can order this pin:

on the foundation site and support a great cause.
