Why is CBS Atlanta Not Broadcasting the NFL Today?

Someone is sitting in the Delta Airlines lounge at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Internation Airport today scratching their head. They just Googled the question "Why is CBS Atlanta not broadcasting NFL?"
The answer is simple: The Falcons are playing at home against the Carolina Panthers in a 1:00 PM ET game on Fox Sports. Since CBS Sports has the doubleheader today, their 1:00 games cannot be broadcast in the Atlanta market, because they would be competing against the Falcons.
CBS Atlanta (Channel 46) will be airing the second game of the double-header.
Remember, the NFL protects its markets.
