Jayme Parker is a reporter on NESN SportsDesk, New England’s sports news, information and highlights program. The half-hour, sports newscast airs six hours daily. The morning edition runs from 5 am to 9 am and again from Noon to 1 pm. The evening edition airs live every night at 10 pm and 11pm or immediately following NESN’s live coverage of the Red Sox and Bruins.
Parker began her career in Los Angeles as an intern for ESPN2, where she worked on the Jim Rome Show. While in Los Angeles she also served as an assistant director on NBC's hit sitcom Seinfeld.
The Bristol, Connecticut native has worked as a freelance news writer for WCVB-TV Channel 5, WHDH-TV Channel 7 and WBZ-TV Channel 4 in Boston. Currently, Parker serves as a sideline reporter for Boston College football radio broadcasts.
Parker received her undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University and her Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
